WomenCAN

WomenCAN is based on a unique peer support model of earn and learn training developed by WomenCAN Australia with an aim to provide women with financial independence through free training and job placements.

Greater Shepparton Foundation has partnered with WomenCAN Australia, Greater Shepparton City Council and the Bowden Marston Foundation to offer training and employment opportunities to local women who have a passion for care and are interested in kick-starting their career specifically in Early Childhood.

This unique model provides a supportive 12-month traineeship opportunity sees trainees earn and learn whilst completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and have paid work part-time or full-time at a local childcare centre.
