Greater Shepparton Foundation’s Workplace Giving Program makes it easy for you to make a regular tax-deductible donation that supports your local community.
Many people feel that they would like to help others – but don’t have a simple and effective way of doing so. By donating from just $2 each week via our Workplace Giving Program, you can help build a stronger local community providing opportunities for all to participate.
Workplace Giving (WPG) is an accredited Australian Taxation Office program. Minimal effort is required to donate. It is as simple as authorising your employer to deduct your chosen amount each pay period, and you can cancel at any time … and the advantage is that this amount is being deducted from your pre-tax pay and is therefore an immediate tax deduction.

As a trusted local philanthropic hub with a goal to fund courageous and creative solutions to tackle disadvantage. We aim for inclusive, interconnected communities where everybody has an equal opportunity to participate. By truly listening, learning and activating local expertise, we are identifying ways to strengthen our community. We are committed to our view that if we are led by community, we can deliver with community.
With our place-based knowledge and consultation with our community we have identified the areas of social inclusion; housing; parenting and early childhood development; and employment and economic engagement as major areas in need of our focus. We also support the community in times of crisis with an established Response Fund to be accessed following disasters.
Over the years our Workplace Giving program has helped to raise critical funds to support important projects mostly led by community and volunteer organisations.
